Privacy

Viewing Trades stores the minimum needed to run your account, watchlist, calls, alerts, and optional trading connections. This page says what that is.

Account data

Sign-in with Google or X gives Viewing Trades an identifier, display name, email, and profile image from that provider. We store watchlist rows, notes, calls, comments, price alerts, paper trades, and VT+ status against that account. You can remove a call you posted. Signing out ends the session in this browser.

Cookies and local storage

A session cookie keeps you signed in. The embedded preview may use a bearer token instead of a readable cookie. Preferences (scanner tab, chart range, hidden coins, dismissed calls) sit in local storage on your device and are not sent as a profile. We do not sell this data.

Analytics

Viewing Trades does not run a third-party advertising pixel. Server logs may include the page, time, and a coarse IP long enough to debug errors and rate limits, then age out. Market data requests go to CoinMarketCap, CoinPaprika, Dex sources, and, if you use perps, Hyperliquid.

Wallets and Hyperliquid

Connecting Hyperliquid stores an API agent key in this browser so Viewing Trades can sign orders. That key is not your wallet seed and is not reused for Uniswap or Jupiter. On-chain swaps use a separate wallet connection (WalletConnect, Phantom, or an injected browser wallet). Those providers receive the transaction you approve. Viewing Trades does not custody funds and does not see your seed phrase. Disconnecting clears the local session.
